On the occasion of the Day of Science in Ukraine, the acting director of the library (Olena Soloveichuk), together with the coordinator of scientific research work of higher education students (Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Oleksii Listopad), the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists (Doctor of Philosophy Dmytro Belitchenko), the Chairman of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists (Evgeniya Radeva), as well as the acting chairman of the student government (Alevtina Kushko) traditionally held a competition of scientific works "There is integrity!".

This year, the competition brought together students and young scientists who demonstrate a high level of academic culture, a responsible attitude to scientific research and adherence to ethical standards of academic writing in their works.

The winners were determined in the following nominations:

🏅 an academically honest term paper;

🏅 an academically honest master's thesis;

🏅 an academically honest dissertation.

The evaluation of the competition works was carried out on the basis of the analysis of similarity reports generated by the StrikePlagiarism system, checking the correctness of citation, academic ethics and the quality of the design of the sources used.

The competition was launched in 2023 with the aim of popularizing the principles of academic integrity, developing scientific ethics and forming a culture of responsible academic writing. Special attention within the framework of the initiative was paid to familiarizing students with modern library resources and digital services necessary for the preparation of high-quality scientific texts.

The announcement and awarding of the winners of the competition will take place at a meeting of the Academic Board on May 28, 2026.
