On August 31, 2026, on the eve of Knowledge Day, a conference of the labor collective was held at Ushinsky University. The agenda included the issue “Report on the results of the work of Ushynsky University for 2025/2026 academic year and the university’s work plan for 2026/2027 academic year.”

At the beginning of their work, the conference attendees honored the heroic feat of our Defenders and Defenders who defend the freedom and independence of Ukraine.

The report of the rector, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Andriy Vasylevich Krasnozhon, analyzed the main results of educational, scientific, international and financial and economic activities and the university’s work plan for 2026/2027 academic year.

In particular, the rector touched upon the main areas of the university’s work in his report. Namely: issues of organizing the educational process, licensing and accreditation of educational programs, results of the admission campaign, quality of training of applicants, organization of training in today's conditions; issues of scientific activity of the university, results of scientific certification, and also reported on the participation of teachers in grants, publication activity, holding conferences and the work of scientific schools of the university; considered issues of international activity: development of academic mobility, partnership with foreign higher education institutions and implementation of international projects. The rector focused particular attention on the economic activity of the university and the work carried out on the renovation of educational buildings, dormitories, setting up a sports ground, solar generation, etc. He separately drew attention to those problems in the university's activities that arise due to the military aggression of Russia.

After the report, the conference delegates took part in discussing the successful activities of the team and tasks for the next year. The discussion was attended by Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Activities Hrytsyuk Yu.S., Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences Prof. Vdovichenko O.V. and Chairman of the Student Council Kushko A.S.

Also present at the conference (online and offline) were members of the Supervisory Board of Ushynsky University: Malin O.L., Krasovytsky O.V., Bortnikova O.V., Vitko-Prysyazhnyuk Ya.V., Milchev M.M. In particular, Prof. Malin O.L. positively assessed the work of the rector and administration in conditions of war and a difficult economic situation.

In general, the delegates of the conference of the labor collective positively assessed the report on the results of the work of Ushynsky University for 2025/2026 academic year and the university's work plan for 2026/2027 academic year.
