The department of theory and methodology of physical education and sports sciences held a student scientific forum "Information technology in the field of physical culture and sport", dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the establishment of South Ukrainian national pedagogical university named after K. D. Ushynsky.

The forum discussed the problem of the use of new information technology in the educational process of future teachers of physical education; the use of modern information technologies in the professional training of athletes.

The purpose of the forum was the disclosure of a wide range of views on selected issues, the discussion of new achievements and contradictions of the use of new information technology in the educational and training processes.

Forum results revealed a level of high interest and preparation of future teachers of physical education in the study of the subject.
