July 17, 2018, on the basis of the Odessa Scientific Information Center for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, a meeting of the United States navy sailors, participants of the international training "Sea-Breeze-2018", was held with trainers and students of the higher education institution.

July 14, 2018, at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, the International Forum of Scientists, Educators, Culture and Arts - Eurasia Culture Forum (E.C.F) was held.

July 13, 2018, Ivan Kopichenko, Regional Coordinator of the EGAP Program (e-government for the accountability of the authorities and community participation), provided eight scholarships on e-governance and e-democracy to the Library of Ushynsky University.

July 12, the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, Academician O. Ya. Chebykin, and representatives of a public organization “Solidarity Youth” within the framework of the initiative "Ukraine-Solidarity-NATO". During the meeting, the possible directions of the work have been identified: the creation of joint forums involving students and active youth, the opportunities for the international cooperation, as well as the work of the Odessa Scientific Information Center for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation of the University, coordinated by the lecturer of the Department of Political Sciences and Law Ye.O Sadykova. The University also has received the publication "NATO: Ukrainian Choice", which highlights the cooperation between Ukraine and the Alliance.

June 8-14, 2018, Georgia Massage Technology Forum, Georgia Fest 2018 successfully hosted in Georgia (Tbilisi), in which massage and rehabilitation specialists from Italy, Romania, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia took part. The employee of the Department of Biology and Fundamentals of Health Ph.D., Associate Professor S.A. Kholodov has participated in the work of the judging panel in the open international Mass-Media Championship in Georgia.

The students of Ushynsky University the Faculty of Music and choreography Yatin Lee, the ensemble of dance "Orchestra", the  post-graduate student of the faculty of music and choreography Lai Xiaozhan and Zhou E brightly performed at the IV International Festival and Competition "Constellation of the sea - the Sun, Youth, Beauty" , which was held in Odessa June 15-17, 2018. This competition is traditionally held in the International Festival of the "Constellation" patronized by the Municipality of Budapest, the Municipality of Piran (Slovenia), the Municipality of Liptovsky Mikulisha (Slovakia), the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Odessa City Council.

June 2, 2018, International Investment Forum was held in Odesa with the support of the heads of the Odesa region, experts representing the enterprises of the Universities and various organizations of the Odesa region, as well as the Consulate of the People`s Republic of China in Odesa. A delegation from China came from China, which included 52 specialists from various fields of activity. In the panel devoted to scientific and educational projects, the Rector, Academician Olexii Chebykin offered several investment projects to Chinese partners related to the expansion of the training of Chinese students at Ushynsky University and the opening of a branch of the University in the People's Republic of China, the creation of joint ventures with IT technologies, the production of various nanosensors, logistics center, and others. The above proposals have become the subject of discussion by interested specialists of the PRC the next day, on which the mechanisms of implementation of these projects were determined.
