August 28, 2015 A joint meeting of the University staff and the Academic Board of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushynsky was held to mark the beginning of the new 2015-2016 curriculum year.

The Volkswagen Group together with the Institute of Materials Science of the University of Hanover (Germany) in the X-ray laboratory of the Department has been conducting a unique research of the microstructure of metal parts for cars since 2002. According to the obtained results there were published over twenty articles in scientific international journals, three Ph.D. theses were defended. Senior students and graduates of the Department of Physics are actively involved in research under the leadership of Arcady Oleksiyovych Bryuchanov, Professor, Doctor of Sciences (Technology).

June 10, 2015 at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushynsky the sixth teachers' forum of humane pedagogy was held. The forum invited professors, graduate students, teachers of educational institutions who are interested in the educational program of Sh. Amonashvili "School of Life".

This development is a result of the research laboratory of the X-ray physics faculty, conducted by the Department of the Space Research Institute, E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine
