South Ukrainian Center for Professional Development of Managers and Specialists in the Socioeconomic Sphere of Ushynsky University

The event was held within the framework of the theme “Critical Thinking in the Academic Environment: From Theory to Practice” and was dedicated to the second module — “Improving Analytical Skills Using Evidence-Based Methods”.

During the meeting, the participants got acquainted with modern approaches to the development of analytical thinking, in particular with the use of evidence-based methods, which are actively used in professional activities today. Special attention was paid to the practices of assessing critical thinking — from case tasks to formative assessment tools, which allow for a more accurate determination of the level of formation of analytical skills.

Translation of the educational and methodological material was provided by Olga PAPACH, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Methods of Its Teaching, Ushynsky University.
