An open lecture of the Hungarian guitarist and composer David Pavlovits aroused extraordinary interest among student musicians and postgraduates of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography. On the basis of the International Educational and Artistic Project "ARS SONORA: INTERNATIONAL GUITAR HUB" on April 21, 2026, a real lecture-concert was held. Let us recall that David Pavlovits performed as a soloist in more than 30 countries on four continents, in such halls as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Cairo Opera House, the Great Hall of the Budapest Academy of Music and the Shanghai Conservatory. For his activities in the field of contemporary music, he was awarded the Artisjus Prize. He speaks eight foreign languages ​​and conducts master classes around the world. He worked as a music designer for Sony Pictures Television and a composer for several film projects.

Since 2004, he has been the head of the guitar department at the University of Szeged (Hungary), PhD, associate professor. His students are among the most successful guitarists in the country.

Since 1993, he has been a laureate and winner of many music competitions. As a composer, he has published a number of guitar works in the Ricordi and Doberman/Yppan publishing houses. His sonata "Stormbird" is a permanent part of the program of many international competitions. His preludes are included in the mandatory exam program of Trinity College in London. His competition composition for guitar and ensemble was presented by Grammy Award winner William Kanengeiser, and his orchestral works are performed all over the world, from New Zealand to China and the USA.

Students and postgraduates had the opportunity to communicate in English and get answers to questions that were important not only for guitarists, but also for musicians-performers of various profiles.
