Fairytale performance by choreographer students at the Children's Home

On June 10, second-year students of the Choreography major visited the Children's Home at Kovalevsky's Dacha, where they presented an interactive fairy tale performance to the students.

The future choreographers created a vivid fairy tale-journey about the Friendship Fairy on their own, in which the importance of friendship, mutual support, kindness, and the ability to act together was revealed through exciting adventures. In colorful stage costumes, the students presented the children with a real theatrical holiday, full of music, dance, and sincere emotions.

The feature of the performance was its interactive format: the students not only watched the development of the plot, but also became its full participants. Together with the heroes of the fairy tale, the children overcame trials, performed creative tasks, and helped save the Friendship Fairy, feeling their own significance and the power of teamwork.

In such an unusual creative form, the test for the elective discipline "Actor-Plastic Training of a Choreographer" was held under the guidance of Olga Sergeevna Mikulinska, associate professor of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography.

It is worth noting that the creation of the performance was preceded by the study by students of the discipline "Methodology of Choreographic Activity of Preschool Children", which is taught by Yulia Ihorivna Volkova, associate professor of the same department. The knowledge gained helped future specialists take into account the age characteristics of the children's audience, build effective interaction with students and create a meaningful interactive program that was interesting, accessible and understandable for children.

The performance was given special warmth by the participation of the teacher Yulia Ihorivna Volkova, who, together with her daughters Nonna and Vera, joined the fairy-tale production. The young participants embodied the images of butterflies, helping the heroes create a magical world of a fairy tale and giving the little audience even more vivid impressions.

The presented performance became a vivid example of the successful combination of knowledge and skills acquired by students while studying two disciplines - "Actor-plastic training of a choreographer" and "Methodology of choreographic activity of preschool children". The theatrical form of the final show allowed future choreographers to demonstrate not only their creative abilities and acting skills, but also the ability to work with a children's audience, involve them in joint activities and create an atmosphere of trust, goodwill and co-creation.

The students brilliantly coped with the tasks set, giving the children sincere emotions, the joy of communication and unforgettable impressions.

We sincerely congratulate the future choreography teachers on a successful creative project that combined art, pedagogy, and social responsibility, and wish them new professional and creative achievements!
