On April 10, 2026, a landmark event for students, postgraduate students, and scientific and pedagogical workers took place at Ushynsky University - a guest lecture by international expert Olha Zbarska as part of the launch of the international advanced training (internship) "Critical Thinking in the Academic Sphere: From Theory to Practice".
On April 10, 2026, at the Institute of Creative Thinking “OZ CREDO”, USA, with the support of the South Ukrainian Center for Professional Development of managers and specialists in the socio-economic sphere of Ushynsky University, the international advanced training (internship) “Critical Thinking in the Academic Sphere: From Theory to Practice” officially started, in which teachers and scientific and pedagogical workers from 41 higher education institutions and 22 regions of Ukraine participate.
On April 9, 2026, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine, Mr. MA Shengkun, visited Ushynsky University, accompanied by a Chinese delegation consisting of: WANG Zhengguang - Counselor-Envoy, LI Jianwei - First Secretary, WU Pengjiu - Second Secretary, ZHAN Senyao - Second Secretary, and ZHAN Zhengguo - Education Representative.
On April 9, 2026, the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of Ushynsky University, with the support of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Socio-Cultural Practices, held a solemn event "Chinese-Ukrainian Spring - 2026" in the Odesa Concert Hall "Palladium", which was attended by students, high school students, teachers and directors of educational institutions of Odesa region, media, deputies and representatives of the regional and city councils.
On April 8, 2026, a guest lecture on the topic “Development and testing of the questionnaire “Diagnosis of the level of maturity and type of civic identity” was held for bachelors, masters and postgraduates in specialty C4 (053) Psychology.
A bright concert of pop ensembles dedicated to the International Rock and Roll Day was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Socio-Cultural Practices. The student art community once again confirmed its creative activity and high performing level.
An international educational and artistic project "ARS SONORA: INTERNATIONAL GUITAR HUB" within the framework of the Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Art Education: Foreign Experience" began its work on April 7, 2026 with an open lecture by Tali Roth, a world-famous guitarist and teacher.
On April 7, 2026, an official group of representatives from Ushynsky University visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Odesa. Rector Andriy KRASNOZHON led the delegation consisting of the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Oleksandra POPOVA, and the Head of the Department of Germanic and Oriental Languages and Methods of Their Teaching, Anastasia YUMRUKUZ.
