September 16, 2018 in the city Kherson ended the tournament on sambo among men, Memory Honored coach of Ukraine Roman Shkolnikov, held by the National Sambo Federation of Ukraine.

In the weight category 74 kg, the third place has won the student of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky Sergey Naumov. Recently the athlete won the second place in the Ukrainian Cup among juniors fighting Sambo in Zhytomyr.
