November 17-18, 2018, within the framework of preparation and implementation of joint Ukrainian-Chinese educational, scientific and cultural projects, meetings of the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, Academician Olexii Ya. Chebykin, with the First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine Mr. Wang Dujun, Third Secretary of the Embassy Mr. Liu Tai, Newly-appointed Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Odesa, Mr. Sun Lijun, Consul-General of the PRC in Odesa, Ms. Chen Yuyuzun, Consul General for Education and Culture Ms. Yu Zhouulin, People's Republic of China.

During the meeting, prospects for the development of educational, scientific, economic and cultural ties between the PRC and Ukraine have been outlined, new programs for cooperation have been proposed.
