December 15, 2018, with the support of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, the opening ceremony of the world-wide exhibition of the famous Chinese artist Wang Xinyuan "One Belt, One Road" was held at the Museum of Western and Oriental Art.

During the event, Wang Xinyuan paintings have been presented to honorary guests and participants, and a calligraphy workshop has been held. Upon completion of the performance, the guests have been presented with paintings by the artist from the People's Republic of China.
