From June 8 to 13, 2026, the World University Championship Combat Sports was held in the capital of Brazil, which brought together the strongest student athletes from different countries of the world.

Historians began another archaeological practice in the village of Orlivka under the guidance of the head of the Archaeological Laboratory, Doctor of Historical Sciences I. V. Bruyako. According to the curriculum, archaeological practice is conducted as an out-of-town field expedition at archaeological heritage sites - the Kartal settlement near the village of Orlivka and on Prymorsky Boulevard.

On June 12, students of grades 9-10 of Odesa Lyceum No. 15 of the Odesa City Council visited the Archaeological Laboratory of Ushynsky University. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the University and the educational process at the Faculty of History and Philology.

On June 11, 2026, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Graphics of Ushynsky University had the honor of presenting an exhibition of academic and creative works of students of the Faculty of Fine Arts, entitled “Luka Basanets & Co” for students and teachers of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design of the Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University, Facultatea Arte Vizuale și Design, UPS “Ion Creangă” Chisinau, Moldova.

As part of the implementation of the Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE “TURBO” project (“Reimagining Universities’ Response to Big Obstacles: Building Resilient Higher Education for Crisis Management”), the “Business and Technology: A New Start” study program, a reporting conference-presentation of business plans was held, during which faculty teams presented their own entrepreneurial ideas, demonstrating creativity, strategic thinking, and readiness to implement modern solutions in the professional sphere.

On June 10, second-year students of the Choreography major visited the Children's Home at Kovalevsky's Dacha, where they presented an interactive fairy tale performance to the students.
