On June 17, at an extended meeting of the Department of History of Ukraine, a public discussion of the educational and scientific program (ESP) “History and Archaeology” for applicants of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education took place.
All 8 scientific journals, founded by South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, have confirmed their high level of professionalism and have been included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 928 dated June 11, 2026.
On June 16, 2026, at a meeting of the Department of Pedagogy of Ushynsky University, a discussion of the draft educational and scientific program for the training of future Doctors of Philosophy in specialty A1 Educational Sciences took place.

On June 15, 2026, a delegation of scientific and pedagogical workers of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" consisting of four people participated in the final workshop of the international project TURBO - Social Adaptation of IDPs in Ukrainian Regions: Sharing Experience between Ukrainian HEIs, which was held offline at Kozmynsky University, Warsaw (Poland).
At the Faculty of Art and Graphics of Ushynsky University, from June 8 to 14, 2026, an exhibition of student creative works “Japan: a dialogue of tradition and design” was held, organized by the Department of Professional Education and Design.
The participants of the exhibition were students of the educational and professional programs “Professional Education (Design)” (PE) and “Clothing Design” (CD), who presented their own creative projects dedicated to the artistic understanding of Japanese culture through the means of modern art and design.
From June 8 to 13, 2026, the World University Championship Combat Sports was held in the capital of Brazil, which brought together the strongest student athletes from different countries of the world.
Historians began another archaeological practice in the village of Orlivka under the guidance of the head of the Archaeological Laboratory, Doctor of Historical Sciences I. V. Bruyako. According to the curriculum, archaeological practice is conducted as an out-of-town field expedition at archaeological heritage sites - the Kartal settlement near the village of Orlivka and on Prymorsky Boulevard.
