April 22-24, 2016 II Ukrainian open choral festival-competition "The Voices of the Bright Country" was held in Uzhgorod. The main purpose of the event - support, development and promotion in the wider circles of vocal and choral art, preservation and development of traditions of choral singing, familiarize participants with the eastern and central regions with rich historical and cultural heritage of Transcarpathia.

April 19, women's choir of the Faculty of Music and Choreography (superviser O.S.Lesnyk, choirmaster S.A.Radyushyna, concertmaster N.A.Levchenko) took part in the premiere of "Solemn Mass" by the Odessa composer Oleg Polevyy for the orchestra, choir and soloists of Odessa national music academy after A.V. Nezhdanova. The conductor - S.Savenko.

April 14-15, 2016 at the Faculty of Psychology of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky conducted All-Ukrainian Olympiad in "Psychology", which was attended by 27 students from different universities of Ukraine.
Congratulations to Andrew Kucherenko, who won the second place. His supervisor is Olga Olegivna Vodolazka, PhD, Assistant Professor of the Department of General and Differential Psychology.
During the Olympiad a round table on "Psychological innovations in the profession" was held.
