November 5, 2017, during the visit to the city of Odessa, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky was visited by the Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea Mr. Shin Kyu Ho.

At the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of Ushynsky University there was held a working meeting of a high foreign guest with the Pro-rector of international relations A.M. Ananiev and coordinators of the University Educational Information and Cultural Center of the Republic of Korea by scientific and pedagogical workers M. A. Skoromna (on the Ukrainian side) and Antonina Pak (from the Korean side).

During the meeting, Mr. Shin Kyu Ho got acquainted with the training base, features of the linguistic and cultural preparation of 60 students who mastered the Korean language, the university's interaction with the national Korean societies, as well as the prospects of the participation of foreign experts from the Republic of Korea, including from partner universities, in scientific research and implementation of international projects, etc.

November 1, 2017, the psychological service of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky conducted a training "Psychological aspects in the work of a sociologist".

The purpose of the training was to inform students of social and humanitarian faculty of the specialty "Sociology" of Ushynsky University with psychological peculiarities of conducting sociological research.

The students became acquainted with the importance of the role of communication in the professional work of a sociologist and performed several practical psychological tasks in recognition of emotions, solving communication problems, applying a method of persuasion, etc.

The training was held in a coherent and friendly atmosphere.

The students of Ushynsky University, the Faculty of Music and Choreography Gu Jiang,     Pan Shen, Chen Yunji and the post-graduate student of the Department of Music and Choreographic Education, Li Yuyee, brightly performed in the XVI International Contest-Festival "Constellation of Budapest - Youth, Inspiration, Talent" held in the capital Hungary - Budapest from 10/25/2017 to 10/28/2017. This competition is traditionally held within the framework of the festival project "Suzirya" under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Mayoralty of Budapest, the City Hall of Piran (Slovenia), the City Council of Liptovsky Mikulish (Slovakia), the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.

October 25, 2017, the Faculty of political sciences and law of Ushynsky University organized a meeting of students of the specialties "Law" and "Political Science" with representatives of the Center for Juvenile Probation in Odessa. The Center ensures the implementation of state policy in the field of the implementation of certain types of criminal penalties, not related to imprisonment, and probation for minors. The event included raising the legal culture of students in general, mechanisms for ensuring the rights of the child in Ukraine, as well as the possibility of practical implementation of the knowledge gained at the center and in the further professional activity.

The Third International Conference on Adaptive Learning Management Technologies, completed by the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, headed by Professor Mazurko Tetyana Leodinivna (October 25-27, 2017), completed its work.

October 24, 2017, the psychological service of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky", together with representatives of the NGO "Faith, Hope, Love", conducted an educational training lecture "HIV / AIDS Information and Advice on Youth».

The classes were conducted by experienced specialists: Pchelnikova Oksana – a HIV / AIDS coordinator and Dmytry Stoyanov – a social worker.

The purpose of the training-lecture was to consult students of Ushynsky University on the issues of HIV / AIDS prevention and prevention. The youth were introduced to the statistics of the population's infectiousness to understand the importance of preventive measures.

October 24, 2017, the Department of Political Science and Law held a round table discussion on the topic "Ukraine: Economic and Legal Review" on the basis of the Odessa National Scientific Library with students of the specialties " Political Science" and "Law". The students discussed important issues of the modern economy, namely: education as a factor of economic growth; achievements of Ukraine in various fields; the ecological state and demographic situation in Ukraine, the negative consequences of integration of the Ukrainian economy, etc.
